Grenville Stud enjoyed a landmark result at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, selling their Too Darn Hot – La Magique colt for $1.3 million. The colt was a remarkable pinhook success, having been purchased for $335,000 at last year’s Great Southern Sale.

Too Darn Hot colt from La Magique, sold for $1.3 million.

Adding further strength to their draft, Grenville also sold a Zoustar colt out of Lomandra — a half‑sister to Blue Diamond winner Tagaloa — for $900,000, reinforcing the depth and appeal of their consignment.

Across the draft, Grenville’s four lots returned a combined $2.88 million, underscoring both the quality of their stock and the growing reputation of Tasmanian breeding on the national stage. It’s a tremendous achievement and a genuine feather in the cap for the stud and the wider Tasmanian industry.
