Party Day, Strasbourg’s latest winner.

Unrated stallion Strasbourg, standing at Adelaide Plains Bloodstock at Reeves Plains, around 70 kilometres north of Adelaide, added another winner to his record on Sunday when Party Day, a four‑year‑old mare, scored at Devonport.

Strasbourg’s oldest progeny are only four, yet his stock has been in strong form this season — headlined by Moxie’s Group 2 Westbury Classic victory in Auckland. Last month, he sired three winners across three different states, underscoring his growing influence.

A Group 2‑winning son of I Am Invincible, Strasbourg retired to stud at Rosemont Stud in Victoria after a high‑class racing career highlighted by success in the Group 2 Danehill Stakes. His first crop produced standout performers Moxie and Colmar, the latter capturing the South Australian Sires Produce Stakes for two‑year‑olds.

Transferred last year to Adelaide Plains Bloodstock, Strasbourg began his first South Australian season, giving local breeders access to an I Am Invincible‑line stallion at an accessible fee. His first foals are due this spring.

By I Am Invincible and out of Danish Spy (by Danehill), Strasbourg carries a double Danzig influence — one of the most potent speed‑building combinations in modern breeding. His grandsire Invincible Spirit adds further European speed credentials.

Strasbourg blends one of Australia’s hottest sire lines with proven juvenile Group form and a beautifully layered speed pedigree. With I Am Invincible on top and Danehill blood reinforced through Dane Shadow underneath, he offers breeders a compelling mix of speed, precocity, and commercial appeal.

For value‑conscious breeders, Strasbourg shapes as a stallion who may quietly punch above his weight.
